Corn Fritters

Ingredients

2/3 cups corn meal
½ cups flour
1 cup buttermilk
1 egg
kernels from 1 ear of corn (cooked)
1 tsp baking powder (optional)

Directions

  1. Mix all ingredients together until well moistened

  2. Fry in hot griddle until browned on each side

  3. Serve with syrup
